FOUNDATION
The Landscape division of G-Scapes of Lichfield was set up in September 1973 by Malcolm and Elizabeth Gee, founded on a passion for plants and focusing on quality, value and extensive horticultural experience.
PROGRESSION
Malcolm Gee had a love of plants from when he grew his first dahlia at the tender age of 12, so when a suitable 4.5 acre plot of land became available in Watery Lane, Lichfield, it seemed an ideal opportunity to develop this lifelong passion and Fullbrook Nursery was born.
STRENGTH
From the nineties onwards, with the winning combination of a highly-experienced landscape team and a very successful plant nursery, G-Scapes grows from strength to strength.
PASSION
G-Scapes was further strengthened when Daniel joined the business. With Malcolm’s horticultural passion, and Daniel’s creative ideas, G-Scapes established firm foundations for continued growth.
SOLIDARITY
In 2013, after 40 years at the helm, Malcolm transferred the role of Managing Director to Daniel’s very capable hands. Also in 2013, Robert returned to G-Scapes bringing a wealth of horticultural and landscaping experience.
FLOURISH
Just as gardens are not static, but are constantly evolving, G-Scapes will respond to changing trends and continue to create inspirational gardens to be loved and enjoyed.
CHALLENGE
During a challenging few years, G-Scapes has remained positive and professional and under challenging conditions, transformed over 70 gardens in Lichfield and surrounding villages. Further to this, Fullbrook Nursery was officially opened offering an extensive range of high-quality plants and trees to the trade and our landscape customers.
PRESENT
Despite continuing challenges, our company has seen rapid growth. We’re grateful for the opportunity to have tripled our team and to add a new dispatch site and a second production facility. This growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team.
